Maintenance Mechanic II

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician II is responsible for minor fabrication of water
supply and drain pipe repair, installation of electrical controls, rerouting of electrical wiring, testing
and diagnostics of circuitry components and the replacement of electrical equipment. Perform simple
carpentry construction, including layout and design. Capable of lock, key, door and window repair.
Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC units, automobile, and landscape equipment as assigned
to him according to the prescribed standard of quality and identified procedures. Is subject to being
recalled to campus for “after hours” work during the work week and weekend.
