Assistant Professor - Public Health and Criminal Justice

The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for one tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position will begin on September 1, 2027. For this position, we are seeking applicants with a research specialization at the intersection of public health and criminal justice OR in corrections. Successful candidates must be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in criminology and criminal justice, conduct and publish research in criminology and criminal justice, and perform service to the department, university, and discipline. Candidates should provide evidence of excellence in research, teaching, and service if possible.
