Post Doctoral Research Associate

The Department of Biology in the College of Science at The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a non-tenured Postdoctoral Research Associate position.

The Tang Lab is seeking to hire one postdoctoral researcher to investigate bacterial stress responses and the mechanisms by which bacterial infections alter host metabolism and immune responses.

Our research focuses on understanding both bacterial physiology and host-pathogen interactions at the molecular and cellular levels. Candidates with expertise in bacterial physiology, bacterial pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

The postdoctoral researcher will be supported by active NIH R35 and R01 grants, as well as Dr. Tang’s startup funding. The Tang Lab offers a collaborative, supportive, and intellectually stimulating research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities.
