Classroom Observations
Thank you for choosing Aledo ISD for your classroom observations. This application is directed to assist EPP (Alternative Certification Program) candidates and current college or university students needing to complete classroom observation hours. Observation requests will be handled as quickly as possible but may take 7-12 business days to complete.

You must complete this application and submit the following in order to be considered/approved to conduct observations at Aledo ISD classrooms.

• Submit this completed Application; list 3 professional references within your application and push-out the electronic survey. We must have at least 2 satisfactory electronic references returned in order to finalize a placement request.
• Upload a letter of recommendation from your University/Program indicating the subject area and grade level(s) of required observation and number of hours needed.
• Upload the letter to your application file as: "Program Letter";

• Complete an online background check through our system with Raptor using this link: Background Check

Observation Guidelines

• All cell phone use for any purpose during observations is prohibited.
• Professional attire is required for all observers.
• Admittance to a campus may be denied if attire is deemed inappropriate by an administrator.

• Remember that all information concerning students is confidential.
• Be respectful of the campus' ultimate purpose which is educating the students.

An Aledo ISD employee will contact you via email once approval has been granted.
Please remember that classroom observation requests are subject to Campus approval, space, and availability.
