LABORER SUBSTITUTE

SALARY: $16.00/hour.
HOURS: VARIES

DESCRIPTION / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure

• Ability to communicate effectively/cooperatively with others/Team player

• Punctual/good work ethic

Typical work activities:

• Cleans and services buildings by sweeping, mopping offices, classrooms, bathrooms, etc.
• Waxes and buffs floors
• Performs minor maintenance on building fixtures and equipment
• Picks up and disposes of trash
• Assists with outside work such as sweeping, shoveling snow, etc.
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to left medium weights. Ability to perform routine maintenance and mechanical work
