Substitute Teacher

PER-DIEM TEACHER SUBSTITUTES

ALL CERTIFICATION AREAS NEEDED - APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED CONTINOUSLY.

• Certified - must possess a valid NYS teaching certification
• Classroom teaching experience
• All positions must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education before employment processing (see attached)

Salary: $150 for certified substitutes

Non-certified applicants for teaching substitute positions should have at minimum:

• Bachelor's degree
• Classroom teaching experience
• Will only be allowed to work for 40 days/year per NYS Education Law.

Salary for non-certified substitutes: $130/day(pending Board Approval) - NON-CERTIFIED SUBS SHOULD APPLY UNDER JOB #3300021540 - Non Certified Teacher

NOTE: The district withholds the right to change substitute placements in the event of an emergency.
