Lifeguard

Position: Lifeguard
Availability: Summer and/or Afterschool Hours

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain continuous visual surveillance of all students and visitors in the pool and surrounding deck area.
• Enforce pool rules, safety guidelines, and district policies.
• Recognize and respond immediately to swimmers in distress, water emergencies, and potential safety hazards.
• Administer first aid, CPR, or AED when necessary, according to certified emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with the PAWS Summer and Afterschool program staff.

Additional Information:

• Training will be available upon hire, if applicable.
• Salary: $17.50 per hour
