Substitute Teacher (K-12)

This is an on-call position. Substitutes may work a flexible schedule, choosing which days of the week to work and which schools to cover. We use an automated calling system to make assignments, but you also will have access to viewing assignments on-line. Assignments could be at the following schools: Apache Junction High School, Cactus Canyon Junior High, Academcy, Desert Vista Elementary, Four Peaks Elementary or Peralta Elementary, grade levels K-12.

Requirements:

• Current AZ Substitute Teacher Certificate or AZ Teaching Certificate- Must have original certificate at time of hire
• Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card with IVP#

Substitute Daily Rate of Pay

• $140.00 - Full Day
• $70.00 - 1/2 Day (4.5 hours or less)
• $150.00 - Long Term rate paid on 21st day of assignment retroactive to first day when covering the same teacher for minimum of 21 days.
