Substitute Custodian / Substitute Event Staff

Description:

Arlington Heights School District 25 has openings for substitute custodians / substitute event staff.
Times vary, and shifts may range from 3 to 8 hours per day, primarily after 2:30 pm.

Pay : $19.00/hour, no benefits.

Job Summary for Building Attendant duties:

• Ability to work with community groups, Facility Operation Managers and the Building Attendant Supervisor to keep the buildings and grounds organized, set-up, clean, neat, safe and secure
• Ability to work flexible hours to respond to the demands of the position
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform light custodial and set-up duties
• Ability to respond to emergencies

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED certification

Display a positive attitude

Dependable

Have a good attendance record

Ability to work with little supervision

Good communication skills

Physical dexterity

Experience in sanitation, chemical usage, equipment operation and a basic knowledge of building cleaning procedures
