NY State Certified Substitute Teachers

Avon Central Schools is looking for qualified substitute teachers. Three subs may be assigned as daily building subs for the school year, to be paid at the per diem rate. Others may be added to the list of approved substitute teachers for per diem assignments. Pay rate for certified subs is $140 per day; retired teacher rate is $150 per day; Retiree sub for more than 20 consecutive or dedicated days is $210 per day.

Avon Central School District is the center of learning for approximately 1,000 students from Kindergarten through grade 12. Located in northern Livingston County, the district combines the benefits of a tight-knit rural community with proximity to the technology and cultural opportunities of Rochester, New York, just 20 miles to the north.
