Teaching Assistant High School- Job Coach/Instructional Support (Probationary)

Ballston Spa High School is looking for a Teaching Assistant/Job Coach to support the vocational development and independence of general and special education students. This position combines instructional classroom support with direct, on-the-job training at off-campus community work sites. The Job Coach is responsible for modeling job tasks, reteaching essential skills, ensuring students adhere to safety and efficiency standards, and maintaining required documentation such as employability profiles and career plans. The TA/Job Coach will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support instruction and the transference of workplace skills from the classroom to the worksite.

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Teaching Assistant Initial with a minimum of 18 college credits Job Coach certification/experience preferred

Salary: $25,585/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
