Bus Monitor (10167) 26-27

The Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District is seeking a reliable and responsible School Bus Monitor to help ensure the safety and well-being of students while traveling to and from school.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise students while riding the school bus.
• Assist students with safely entering and exiting the bus.
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment.
• Support students who may require additional assistance during transportation.
• Communicate appropriately with the bus driver, school staff, and transportation personnel regarding student needs or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to student safety.
• Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages and needs.
• Ability to follow District safety procedures and staff directives.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred.

Schedule: Part-time; morning and/or afternoon bus routes on school days.
Start Date: As soon as possible
