ROLE AND PURPOSE
Ensure safety and a positive environment for students who use district transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Certification/Education:
High School diploma or GED

Valid Texas drivers’ license

Certification as a school bus driver, Per CCISD DBB, Legal

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to work well with children
• Positive results on the bus driver’s physical examination
• Negative results on periodic random or scheduled drug tests
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
• Knowledge to communicate effectively (verbally)

Minimum Experience:
Three references that have been checked and verified.
