Position Summary:
The School Sub Nurse provides compassionate, professional healthcare and first aid to students and staff. This role manages the Health Services Office, responds to emergencies, supports students with chronic conditions, and ensures compliance with state health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as first responder to campus medical emergencies
• Provide care for student and staff illness/injury
• Administer daily, PRN, and emergency medications per physician orders and state law
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding health concerns

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current CPR/AED certification required
• Knowledge of pediatric and community health practices
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and collaborative in a fast-paced school setting
