2nd Grade Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and elementary certification required
• ESL certification preferred or willingness to become certified within the first year
• Willingness to grow professionally
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow and use CISD’s curriculum
• Plan/collaborate/work closely with members of grade level team and participate in a Professional Learning Community
• Design student learning with balanced literacy and balanced math
• Provide research based interventions for at-risk/struggling learners
• Other duties as assigned
