Family and Consumer Science Teacher

The Chichester School District is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Family and Consumer Science Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can create an engaging and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping students develop real-world skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and issue educational content, including notes, tests, and assignments
• Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe, respectful, and productive environment
• Grade assignments, assess and track students’ progress, and plan educational activities tailored to varying learning levels
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success and implement district initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance
• Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional ethics
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Education or related field
• Possesses or is able to acquire a valid Pennsylvania Family and Consumer Sciences/Home Economics (PK-12) Certification
