Behavior Specialist

POSITION: Behavior Specialist

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and qualify for teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.

REQUIRED LICENSE: Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education with endorsement in relevant subject area.

and/or Must possess or be able to acquire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) with licensure in the state of Nevada.

DEFINITION: The Behavior Specialist is responsible to provide behavior analysis services and behavior management plans for special education students enrolled in educational programs.

CURRENT SALARY: $51,049 minimum - $97,806 depending on experience and education, scheduled 182 days per year + an additional 25 paid days. Additional days are compensated at full daily rate in addition to the base salary amount. (*SB500 funds will be added for the 26-27 school year)

BENEFITS: Nevada PERS retirement contribution, health, dental, vision and life insurance. Sick leave and personal leave included. Nevada has no state income tax.
