PE/HEALTH LICENSURE

• Candidates must hold and be HQ in the Physical Education/Health (K-12) license area.
• Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses in Physical Education and Health with at least 15 semester hours in Physical Education and 9 semester hours in Health; OR, Praxis II test 5857 Health and Physical Education Content Knowledge
• Examples of related courses include:
• Health, Health Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science
• Eligibility for the residency license must be established prior to a contract offer.
