District-Wide English as a New Language Teacher (Part-time 0.5 FTE)

Successful Candidate must:

*Demonstrate extensive knowledge of instruction specifically designed for new learners of English.

*Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and application of ENL regulations

*Extensive knowledge of the NYS learning standard across disciplines

*Knowledge of and ability to implement strategies designed to address the needs of diverse learners

*Experience utilizing formative assessments to inform instructional decision-making

*Knowledge of and ability to implement positive effective classroom management strategies aligned with a PBIS model

*Capacity to utilize technology to enhance practice

*Experience in co-teaching model

Successful candidates must possess New York State Certification in English to Speakers of Other Language {7080} or English Language Learning {0005}.
