Child Day Care Group Teacher

The Clyde-Savannah Central School District is currently looking for a Child Day Care Group Teacher for our Child Day Care Center.

• Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
• Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises
• Provide basic care and caregiving activites
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing et) to enhance the child's abilities

*The provisional candidate will be required to take a Civil Service Examination at a later date and score within the top 3% of candidates

Interested candidates must complete and electronically submit the online Wayne County Civil Service application ("Other" field), a cover letter, resume, and letters of reference (three minimum).

Child Care Center Group Teacher Qualifications are as follows:

Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field OR

• Infant and Toddler Child Care and Education Credential; or
• Infant Toddler Child Development Associate Credential; or
• Other Office-recognized credential specific to the infant/toddler developmental period; OR
• Child Development Associate credential
• Each staff person and volunteer must complete a minimum of thirty (30) hours of training every two years.
• Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) Background Check with Fingerprints required
• Must have CPR and First Aid Certifications
