Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with current Microsoft Windows operating systems, including server and desktop platforms. Thorough knowledge of PC hardware diagnosis , troubleshooting, and repair practices with extensive hands-on experience. Thorough understanding of networking concepts including but not limited to Ethernet, TCP/IP, Microsoft Windows, Novell network clients, Active Director, and eDirectory. Comptia A+, Comptia Network+, Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNA or Novell CNA preferred. Employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 100 pounds.

Special Notes
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong soft skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to work well with staff at all levels, along with a solid technical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in IT or customer service is preferred, though not required, as a positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset are equally valuable. Because this position requires occasional local travel between schools, reliable transportation is beneficial.
