Elementary Teacher

Comanche Elementary is seeking a self-motivated individual to serve an Elementary Teacher or the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver TEKS based instruction to lower elementary students and to work closely with all other grade level teachers in a collaborative atmosphere. The teacher will be expected to articulate and model a love of learning and to use instructional methods that emphasize higher-level thinking skills.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate for elementary

(ESL certification. Completion of the Texas Reading Academy, and GT credentials a plus, but can be obtained during the school year)

This position is potentially eligible for the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. The allotment provides funding to pay highly effective teachers whose students show measurable improvement in academic growth. The average allotment paid to those teachers who earn TIA designation is approximately $6,500-$23,500/year in addition to their regular salary.
