Lead Paraprofessional (1s & 2s)

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED, and
• Successful Completion of the Paraprofessional Test or
• 60 College Credit Hours or
• Associates Degree from an Accredited College
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Ability to work with students at various educational levels
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to effectively communicate with students and employees
• Ability to promote good Customer Service
• Under supervision of the teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
• Participates in in-service training programs, as assigned.
• Performs various duties to ensure the safety of students is always maintained at the school site.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REPORTS TO: Teacher and Site Principal

• High School Diploma or GED, and
• Successful Completion of the Paraprofessional Test or 60 College Credit Hours above high school diploma or Associates Degree from an Accredited College
• Three Letters of Recommendation, preferably from previous employers or supervisors. Please do not include letters of recommendation from relatives/family members.
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

5. First Aide/CPR or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
