Job Summary:

Sept 1, 2026 Through February 19, 2027

Requirements:

Appropriate NJ State Certification:

• Elementary (K-6)
• Teacher of Students with Disabilities

Knowledge of evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners

Knowledge of innovative and effective instructional strategies in a small group, special education setting.

Knowledge of data collection practices and progress monitoring

Ability to modify the curriculum based upon techniques needed for individual learning styles

Experience working and collaborating with parents, administrators, child study team members, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Plans

Ability to collaborate with, and guide classroom assistants to support individualized student needs, ensure consistent implementation of IEP goals, and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
