Lunch Aide

Position Title: Lunch Aide/Monitor (2 hrs a day-5 Days a week)
Salary: $15.92 hr / 2 hrs a day (5 Days a week) �some districts vary/while school is open

Qualifications:

• Prior to employment, the following must be addressed:
• Required to complete a criminal history background check to prove that the individual has not been convicted of a crime or a disorderly person's offense in accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:6-7.1.
• Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill the job functions and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.2.
• Pass the state required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.3.
• Possessing a valid driver's license is preferred.

Essential Performance Responsibilities (The following description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. It is not meant to be all inclusive of every task or responsibility.)

• Assist school administration with monitoring students during their lunch ensuring the safety of students.
• Maintains discipline of the students during lunch; monitors and assists students while getting lunch, eating, and recess.
• Maintains current knowledge of emergency procedures; assists school administration in emergency situations.
• Maintains regular attendance and notifies school administration prior to any absences.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Presents a positive character model for our students and parents.
