General Qualifications

• Valid Illinois School Social Worker License
• Master's degree or higher in social work with a specialization in school social work from a regionally accredited institution
• Successful completion of an Illinois approved program for the preparation of school social workers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent human relations skills
• Excellent attentionto detail

Terms of Employment

• 180-day position with wages, hours, terms, and conditions of employment in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board of Education and the Danville Education Association

Reports to

• Building Administrator and Special Education Director
