Anticipated Service Aide (Part-Time)

TITLE: ANTICIPATED SERVICE AIDE (Part-Time)
The hourly rate for this position for the 2026-2027 school year is $17.58.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal.
SUPERVISES: Students assigned by Principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten-month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education.

JOB GOAL: It is our goal to provide a well organized, smooth functioning atmosphere for the lunch program. Through meaningful leadership, it will enable students to enjoy the group interaction and physical exercise which are an integral part of the District's educational program.

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• An aptitude for the tasks.
• An understanding of children and their needs.
• The ability to organize and conduct group activities.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Successful completion of high school, or such other alternatives as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent.
• Possess good moral character.

• PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in organizing group games and activities appropriate to the age group.
• Report as soon as possible any incident which should be called to the attention of the child's classroom teacher.
• Notify the Principal or his designee of any incident involving physical confrontation or major disciplinary disruption.
• Assume the responsibility of play equipment being available and returned to its proper storage area.
• Take part in In-Service Training Programs related to this position.
