Substitute Support Positions

SUPPORT STAFF SUBSTITUTES 26/27SY

Support staff substitute(s) are temporary employees who fill in for regular support staff members when they are absent due to illness, vacation, personal leave, or other reasons. These substitutes perform the same duties as the regular employee they're replacing for that day or period of absence. Support staff substitutes are utilized on an as-needed basis and may work irregularly depending on staffing needs. They're part of the district's contingency plan to maintain daily operations when regular staff are unavailable.

Support staff includes non-teaching positions such as:

• Bus Aide - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Bus Driver (Must have a CDL License) - Sub Rate $25.00/hr
• Bus Monitor - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Cafeteria Monitor - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Cafeteria Worker - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Custodian - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Grounds - Sub Rate $20.00/hr
• Hall Monitor - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Health Room Nurse (Must have LPN or RN to apply) - Sub Rate $20.00/hr
• Maintenance - Sub Rate $20.00/hr
• Paraprofessional - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• School Police Officer (Must have Act 120 to apply) - Sub Rate $18.75/hr
• Security Officer (Must have NASRO training) - Sub Rate $15.00/hr
• Secretary - Sub Rate $15.00/hr

Once your application is received our secretary will email you the paperwork to start the onboarding process. At that time you will identify which of the position(s) listed above you wish to substitute it.
