Title: Math Interventionist � Grades K-8
Salary Range: $60,874.00 - $61,374.00

Qualifications:

• New Jersey instructional certification with valid New Jersey Elementary School Teacher (K- 6) certification (required) and a valid New Jersey Middle School Mathematics (Grade 5 � 8) certification (Endorsement Code 1102- required)
• Experience providing mathematics intervention and/or small-group instruction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based mathematics instructional practices and intervention strategies.
• Experience using student data to identify learning needs, plan targeted instruction, and monitor student progress.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, intervention teams, and school administration.
• Knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Mathematics.
• Experience with i-Ready or other data-driven assessment/intervention platforms preferred.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted, small-group mathematics intervention for students in Grades K�8.
• Use assessment data, including i-Ready Diagnostic data, to identify specific skill gaps and determine appropriate instructional supports.
• Develop and implement intervention plans aligned with students' individual needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support the transfer of intervention skills into core mathematics instruction.
• Support students in developing foundational numeracy, computational fluency, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills.
• Teach Financial Literacy to students in Grades 6�8, providing engaging, age-appropriate instruction aligned with New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
• Participate in PLCs, intervention meetings, and data-analysis activities.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of student progress and intervention services.
• Support the district's implementation of i-Ready Classroom Mathematics and other district mathematics initiatives.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to strengthen mathematics instruction and student achievement across Grades K�8.
