Position Title:
Substitute Teachers

Hours:
7:20 AM -2:45 PM (Hours may vary by building)
Half-days may be available

Salary:
$140/day - Non-Certified (per diem)
$170/day - Certified, Short-Term (6-20 weeks)
$230/day - Certified, Long-Term (20 weeks or more) - Benefits and STEP 1

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Supervise students safely in the classroom and/or shop
• Follow the lesson plan left by the teacher.
• Content area knowledge is not required

Candidates are not required to hold NYS Teacher Certification. Those possessing certification must submit a copy of this Application.

State Education Department Regulations: Candidates that do not possess the NYS Certification will be limited to a maximum of 40 days of work.
