Substitute School Security Coordinator(s)

SALARY: $271/day

The Ewing Public Schools anticipates employment opportunities for Substitute School Security Coordinators. This position would be on-call to substitute in our district schools when security coverage is needed. Substitute School Security Coordinators will assist school administration and teaching staff in maintaining a safe, positive and harmonious school environment for the students and school community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of school security best practices, crisis management and proactive approaches to school safety
• Flexible schedule is required
• Ability to legally possess and carry a firearm and maintain all training and licensing standards required.
• Experience in law enforcement, military policy or related security field required
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required
• Ability to establish positive rapport with all members of the school community
