Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

HOURS:

10 Month (School Year)
Monday - Friday
7.5 hours/day (not including 30 minute lunch break)

SALARY:
Minimum Starting $20.75/hour

NY State Licensed Practical Nurse Certification (required)

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
LPN will assist the School Nurse/RN in charge of the Health Office.

Under the supervision of the RN, the LPN will:

• assess students
• attend to minor medical needs
• deliver medication as prescribed by doctor orders
• assist with hygiene/toileting of younger students
• perform medical procedures as appropriate for a school health office
• other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
