Substitute School Nurse (RN)

Location: Districtwide
Hours: Per Diem
Salary: Minimum $24.25/hr.

NY State Registered Professional Nurse (RN)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing health care to students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include:

• medication administration per doctor's orders
• complete medical procedures related to diagnosis following doctor's orders
• assess illness and injuries and providing care accordingly
• develop health care plans
• respond to medical emergencies that occur within the buiding for students, staff and visitors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Applicants require strong knowledge of nursing principles, skills and techniques.
