Substitute Custodian

Position Function:

• Under the direct supervision of the Head Custodian or shift supervisor, Chief School Administrator, and/or Business Administrator, perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds.
• Maintain equipment in functional condition.
• Provide cleaning and custodial assistance to students, teachers, visitors and others as necessary.
• Perform related duties and general maintenance work as required.

• Active Substitutes in Other Districts
• Complete Criminal History Review as a Transfer Request.
• Provide Documentation of Mantoux test with date and results. Please provide your most recent Mantoux/TB result per guidance from the NJ DOE: "TB testing is not recommended for new employees, student teachers, and contractors of the district with a documented tuberculosis test result, regardless of when this test was done. Repeat TB testing is not required in the absence of a known or suspected exposure to active and infectious TB disease or unless otherwise ordered by a licensed clinician."

• New Substitutes
• Complete the Criminal History Review process.
• Provide Documentation of Mantoux test with date and results.

Compensation
$15.92 per hour, not benefit eligible
