Teacher of Technology (Automotive Program)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree and a valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility required with the appropriate teaching endorsement in the assigned curricular area (Teacher of Technology);
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities;
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills;
• Professional automotive diagnosing and repair experience highly preferred;
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s) highly preferred; and
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent in consultation with the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary- BA/Step 1 - $72,515
