Substitute

Primary Purpose:

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university, Teaching Certificate, or two years of college preferred

• Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to assess the health and behaviors of children by sight and sound.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and utilize effective time management techniques
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
