Preferred Substitute Elementary Teachers

Preferred Substitute Secondary Teachers, district-wide, October 1, 2026 - May 28, 2027

Preferred Substitutes report daily to assigned schools (school holidays and breaks excluded)

Applicants must have a valid New York State Elementary Teaching Certificate, demonstrate sound professional judgment and reliability, and be able to work effectively with students of diverse learning needs.

Rate: $155/day for the 1st 50 days; $165/day for 51-150 days; $190/day for 151+ days
