Language and Culture Coach - Spanish

Minimum Requirements:
There are no minimum requirements for this position.

Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in oral and written Spanish;

Ability to communicate in English;
New York State Teaching Certification (preferred);
Bachelor's Degree in Education or Languages;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to demonstrate cultural competency.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver cultural lessons in Spanish and English;
Promoting cultural awareness and appreciation in the school community;
Provides support to multilingual students under the general direction of a certified teacher;
Supports staff with information about students language and cultural backgrounds to assist planning;
Communicating and partnering with families and staff;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
