Minimum Requirements:
No minimum requirements.

Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent;
Must be 18 years of age;
Must hold a valid Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid, CPR/AED certificates;
Must be familiar with lifesaving equipment;
Must have the ability to undertake crowd control;
Life Guard certificate and experience working with high school students preferred;
Flexibility to work various hours as needed throughout the school year;
Daily attendance is expected.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Provide support during pool instruction to ensure student safety;
Alert the teacher of emergency or problematic situations as they arise;
Ensure all students have vacated the locker room and the locker room is secured during pool instruction;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
