About this role
Electrician
Contributes to the maximum maintenance of buildings so that their appearance makes the schools an inviting and safe place to work in for employees and to learn in for students.
Requirements:
- Five years of experience in general electrical work involving all phases of the trade.
- Thorough knowledge of the problems involved in electrical work.
- OSHA 30 General Industry Certified (or eligible within ninety days of first date of employment)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and work from scaffolds and ladders
- Must have own hand tools
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Good listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a school setting
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel and reach in all directions
- Ability to use a computer keyboard
- Possess physical dexterity
- Ability to pass the required Criminal History Review and the Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure
- Ability to pass the required physical examination for employment.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable
Effective: 2026-2027 School Year
Salary: (As per Salary Guide Electrician 26-27) Tier one $93,469
