School Nurse- Leave Replacement

Positions available at various schools

• Replacement for Nurse on a leave of absence
• Length of positions may vary
• Successful clearance of criminal history
• All Substitutes must be BOE approved

Requirements:

• New Jersey School Nurse Certificate or
• Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university/
• A current NJ Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR, AED Certificates

Effective:

2026-2027 School Year

Salary:

• Days 1-20 - $250.00 a day (sub nurse rate)
• Day 21+ = $340.00 per day HTEA 26/27 STEP 1 BA Teacher Guide

Benefits: Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)
In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
