Special Education Teacher- Middle School

Requirements:

New Jersey Instructional Certificate

• New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) or
• New Jersey Teacher of Mathematics plus Students with Disabilities (TOSD) or
• Teacher of Middle School Math 5-8 Subject Matter Specialization - Mathematics plus Students with Disabilities (TOSD) also requires Teacher of Elementary K-6; or
• Elementary Teacher K-8 plus Students with Disabilities (TOSD)

Effective: 2026- 2027 School Year

Salary:

• As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level
• Minimum $67,958 - maximum $99,181

including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off. Will be entered into the appropriate NJ Pension Program.
