Pre-K - 8 School District seeks exceptional candidates for job openings for 2026 -27 school year:

Full Time Custodial Position

Candidates must have the following:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language
• Minimum experience as determined by the board
• Ability to use computer and access email
• Ability to work with cleaning equipment, scrubbing machines, burnishers, floor machines/extractors, and any other equipment that becomes available in the future.
• Satisfactory physical condition as to perform manual tasks, including, but not limited to, the ability to lift 50 lbs. to the height of a tabletop, climb ladders and work from ladders and lifts.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment

Terms of Employment – 12-month year, Full time, Prorated to start date

Salary: in accordance with the HTEA contract, Range $41,693 - $43,095 (Prorated to start date,) Health, Dental and Vision insurance, in accordance with NJ P.L. 2011, c. 78.
