Position Information:

This is an on-call, cafeteria substitute position that follows the Hico ISD student school calendar. Work is intermittent and based on the need to provide coverage when regular cafeteria employees are absent due to illness, training, personal leave or other reasons.

Starting Pay: $12.50 per hour

• Basic Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook food according to established menus and procedures.
• Serve meals to students and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary cafeteria and kitchen environment.
• Follow all applicable food service, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with meal preparation, cleanup, and other cafeteria duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
