2026-27 Substitute School Nurses

Hilton Central School District is accepting applications for substitute school nurses for the 2026-27 school year. Registered Nurses are preferred, however LPN's may also be considered. Please apply online and download a copy of your nursing credentials:

• NYS license
• NYS registration certificate

Desirable traits of the candidates include:

• Current CPR/AED training;
• Current LPN license or RN certificate (RN preferred);
• Able to follow District procedures and guidelines for health care and medications;
• Able to follow doctor's orders for student medications;
• Excellent communication and telephone skills;
• Strong work ethic;
• Confidentiality;
• Able to interact with students, parents and staff;
• School experience is preferred but not required

Fingerprinting through the New York State Education Department is a requirement for working in the school district.
