Plumber (2026-2027)

Description:
Knowledge of building and plumbing codes. Knowledge of regulations regarding sanitary
plumbing system installations. Ability to install and repair water heaters, water coolers, pumps
and other equipment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Ability to read and follow
instructions. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Ability to use tools of the trade.
Ability to work as an effective team member. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
Ability to operate power pipe cutting and threading machines.

Job Summary:
To install and maintain plumbing in schools and district facilities to ensure a safe and
healthy environment for students and staff.

• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in all fields of plumbing.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Journeyman card preferred.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.

Salary Information: Support Personnel. Pay Grade 12. Two hundred fifty days worked per year (12 months). FLSA Non-Exempt.
