Bus Monitor

Campus:
Transportation/District Wide

Description of Job:
Monitor the safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route.
Monitor students that ride school bus to and from schools or other designated location.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred
Valid Drivers License
Fingerprinting completed prior to first day of work

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must be 21 years of age
Ability to pass alcohol and drug test
Ability to complete required bus safety training
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of student discipline procedure
Ability to manage student behavior
Ability to keep accurate daily records
Ability to operate 2 way radio
