Volunteer Coaches

Responsible for collaboration of goals and objectives of the athletic program as directed by the Head Coach and Athletics & Activities Administration.

Per IHSA, volunteer coaches must be at least 19 years old and hold one of the following prior to any student contact: Professional Educator License (PEL), Substitute License or Coaching Certification through Human Kinetics Coach Education, NFHS, or another IHSA Board-approved coaching certification program

Once all required documents have been submitted and approved by the Athletic Department, Human Resources will contact you regarding a background check and required HR onboarding/training. Volunteer coaches may not have contact with students until all requirements have been met and they have been approved by Human Resources.
