PT ENL Instructor

Position: Part-Time English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher
Certification: New York State English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL/ENL) certification, or other appropriate NYS certification as required by the New York State Education Department
Reports To: Building Principal and/or Director of ENL/Multilingual Learner Services
Schedule: Part-Time, Daily
Assignment: K�12, based upon district needs

POSITION SUMMARY

The Part-Time ENL Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality, standards-based English language instruction to multilingual learners in grades K�12. The ENL teacher provides direct, differentiated instruction designed to develop students' English language proficiency and support their ability to access and participate successfully in the academic program.

The teacher will collaborate with classroom/content-area teachers, support staff, administrators, and families to ensure that multilingual learners receive appropriate instructional support and opportunities to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
