Position: Middle School Teacher
Program: New Directions
Location: Mades-Johnstone School
Hours: 7:30-3:00
Date Available: February 1, 2026 (Possibly earlier if available)

Position Description: Teach and work with students whose primary needs are emotional or behavioral in nature, and whose needs cannot be successfully met in a traditional public school setting. With the use of intervention techniques and individualized instruction aims to help students develop self-management skills, effective decision-making, problem-solving strategies, and improved interpersonal skills.

• LBS1 or special education endorsement
• Qualified to teach middle school

• Bachelor’s Degree in special education or related field

Full Job Description

Pay will be $250 per day.
Mid-Valley serves children and families in the Batavia, Kaneland, Geneva, Central, and St. Charles community school districts in Kane County
